We created a modern family kitchen in extension space
The Brief:
We were tasked with creating a stunning yet robust family kitchen in a new extension.
The brief was a kitchen for baking, raving and everything in between. The customers wanted smooth surfaces, plentiful storage and built-in appliances.
The Solution:
With an emphasis on simple lines and symmetry, as few wall units as possible, no nooks and crannies, and no ugly plugs and wires. We chose items such as a boiling water tap and ovens with extensive functions to avoid the need for countertop items. A downward venting extractor fan built into the worktop avoided using wall space. Plugs were hidden under the one wall unit and the ovens and microwave were kept inline using a warming drawer. The addition of the wine cooler confirmed the kitchen was ready to party at any given moment.
